The hotel had excellent hosts who made us feel very welcome from the start. The room we stayed in was spacious and had a lovely view. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near key attractions and amenities, making it easy to explore the area. We also enjoyed the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere of the hotel grounds.
The water flow in the electric shower could have been better, but apparently, this is already planned for an upgrade. it was a minor issue that did not greatly impact our stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at a charming inn just outside a beautiful coastal town. The room we stayed in was spacious, elegant, and had fine views of the countryside. The ensuite bathroom was modern and luxurious. We were warmly welcomed by the owners, who made us feel right at home. The breakfast served in the dining room was fabulous, and we also enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable lounge. The inn even allowed us to bring our beloved dog with us. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

We had the most incredible stay at a beautiful hotel near Lyme Regis. The rooms were stunning, with elegant furnishings and impeccable cleanliness. The highlight was the luxurious walk-in shower and the modern Thomas Crapper w.c. and wash hand basin. The breakfast options were delicious, including locally produced bacon and sausage. The well-stocked bar/lounge provided a relaxing end to our busy sight-seeing days. The hotel also had ample car parking and a small heated swimming pool. we highly recommend this perfect hotel for a memorable stay.

Well-run countryside hotel with thoughtful hosts. Great breakfast, but would prefer marmalade in dishes. Spacious, clean Luxury Suite with impressive copper bath and high water pressure. Good tea and coffee facilities in the room. Attention to detail throughout, including outdoor space and enclosed run for dogs. Immaculate bar, pool, terrace, and gardens. Plentiful breakfast with fresh produce and friendly service from warm hosts.

We got great value for our money at Dower House in Lyme Regis. The room, the Austen suite, was beautiful, spacious, and cozy. The hotel's location was peaceful and scenic, yet conveniently close to attractions. The hosts, Neil and Rosemarie, were friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts and evening meal were delicious. They were also very dog-friendly with a large, secure area for our furry friend. We had a fantastic three-night stay and would definitely return.

We had a fantastic stay at Dower House and were blown away by the beautiful building and gardens. Our room was tastefully decorated and had a modern bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and we especially enjoyed taking a dip in the warm outside pool. The hotel's location just outside Lyme Regis was perfect for us, as staying in the town center would have been a hassle due to parking. We also appreciated the 10% discount we received at a local restaurant thanks to the hotel's recommendation. we highly recommend staying at this wonderful hotel.

The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, each with its own unique character. The picturesque views of the countryside from the room were stunning. The warm and friendly hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Being able to relax by the heated outdoor pool and enjoy a drink in the extensive outdoor sitting area was a definite highlight.
The windows in our room didn't provide enough insulation, so we could feel the wind blowing in during the night. Also, the noise from the plumbing system was quite disturbing at times, especially when flushing the toilet.
